We usually reply within 2–3 days. Including your device model and iOS / Android version makes it much faster to look into.
There's a large download on first launch
That's because the AI that handles the conversation lives on your device. You download about 2.6 GB once, and after that you can talk with no internet at all. Wi‑Fi is recommended.
Leaving the app mid-download is fine — it resumes. Force-quitting may restart it.
It can't finish without room. Please keep at least 3 GB free.
The downloaded file is integrity-checked every time. If the check fails, it downloads again.
Where do my conversations go?
Nowhere. The conversation is handled by an AI inside your device, and the history is stored only on the device. There is no account on any server and no sign-in. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
There is exactly one exception. When you run the X profile import, the public profile URL you entered is fetched.
How do points work?
You start with 200 points.
A reply from a friend costs 5, creating a friend costs 10, an X profile import costs 10.
The first time you open the app each day, 50 points are free. No ad, no connection needed.
Watching an ad gives 50 points, up to 10 times a day.
You are not charged when a reply never arrives. If it fails, you can try again.
No reply arrived
If the chat shows "No reply arrived" and a Try again button, tap it. A reply can be lost if the app is force-quit while it is being written.
If "Waking your friend up…" stays on screen, the conversation engine isn't ready yet. Check Settings → Get ready to chat.
I want the space back
Settings → Get ready to chat lets you delete the conversation engine. Your friends and history stay; download it again and you carry on where you left off.
Changing languages
Settings → Language offers 한국어 · 日本語 · English · 中文. The language you're learning is a separate setting, and each friend can speak a different one.
I got an inappropriate reply
The text is generated by an AI, so it can say something unintended. Press and hold the message to report it. A mail draft opens, and what you send is used to fix the prompt.
Deleting my account
There is no account. Deleting the app removes your friends, conversations, word book and points from the device along with it. Nothing is left on a server.
