Privacy Policy
"Monster Meter" (hereafter, "the App") is designed with user privacy as its first principle. This policy explains what information the App handles — and what it doesn't.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect any personal information from users. There is no sign-up, no login, no email or phone number to enter. Aside from anonymous Apple App Store download metrics, the developer holds no information that could identify a user.
2. Camera and Photo Usage
The App requests camera access from iOS for face measurement. Captured images are handled as follows:
- Processing happens entirely on your device.
- Apple's Vision framework analyzes facial ratios locally (no network traffic).
- Images are never uploaded to any server, and the developer cannot see them.
- Images are saved to device storage only when you explicitly use the in-app "Save" feature.
3. AI Generation (Apple Intelligence)
The App's AI character generation feature uses Apple's Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) on-device model. AI inference runs entirely on the user's device. The developer and any third party have no access to the inputs or outputs.
If AI generation fails or the device does not support Apple Intelligence, the App falls back to a pre-bundled catalog of entries — randomly selecting one. No network communication occurs in this path either.
4. Tracking and Analytics
The App uses none of the following:
- Advertising SDKs or IDFA-based tracking
- Third-party analytics services (Firebase, Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.)
- Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, etc.)
- Cookies or web trackers (the App contains no WebView)
5. Data Storage and Retention
Photos and wanted posters that you explicitly save are stored only in your iOS device storage (Application Support directory). They are deleted automatically when you uninstall the App.
6. Sharing With Third Parties
Since the App collects no user information, there is nothing to share with any third party.
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect specific information from children under the age of 13. Because the App collects no user information of any kind, children's information cannot be collected through it.
8. External Links
The App and this site may contain links to external sites such as App Store and GitHub. Privacy policies for those external sites are governed by the policies of their respective operators.
9. Disclaimer and Character Content
The App is an unofficial fan parody of "One-Punch Man" by ONE / Yusuke Murata. It is not affiliated with the official work. All character codenames and descriptions generated by AI or selected from the catalog are fictional jokes and do not constitute an assessment of the user's real personality, appearance, or abilities.
10. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated for legal or technical reasons. When changed, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised, and significant changes will be announced in App update notes.
